Grip Captures Its First Top 10 Finish on the
PGA TOUR at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am
Energy
Grip, Inc. made its presence known on the PGA Tour this past weekend
as they captured their first Top 10 Finish at the AT&T Pebble Beach
National Pro-AM. For most companies introducing a brand new product on
the PGA Tour, it can take weeks, even months to find their way into one

Grip! At the AT&T, one of the most highly televised events of the
year,
Energy Grip found its way into the hands of not one…but 7 PGA Tour
players.
The T-9th Place Finisher shot 5 under par and ranked T-3rd for Greens in
Regulation for the event, with a 72.2 average, the best of his career.

Patented technology developed at the University of Texas features an
innovative, proprietary design that solves the problem of harmful shock
and vibration. Strategically placed longitudinal cavities, or “air

The “air pockets” create radial ribs which in turn allow torsion to be
isolated providing an unparalleled vibration energy dissipation
system. A combination of the outside of the grip or “mass” and the
radial ribs, create the dampening mechanism. By placing evenly spaced

Shafts Deliver Desert Launch Title
High-performance
Proforce V2 graphite shafts designed and manufactured by
UST® (United
Sports Technologies) displayed power, distance and accuracy on the
LDA Tour at the Desert Launch Competition in Mesquite, Nev., and were
easily crowned the No. 1 Shaft for Distance.
This year’s champion, Allen McDougall of Scottsdale, Ariz., won the
final round of the event with a 338-yard blast, while runner-up Jeff
Gavin, also playing a
UST Proforce V2 shaft, posted the two longest drives of the overall
tournament, 379 and 377 yards, respectively. Overall,
Proforce V2 shafts won first- and second-place, a third-place tie at
the Desert Launch Competition and were played by six of the Top Eight
finalists.

crush the ball, and it’s no coincidence that this is

second straight year in which we’ve had a great showing at the Desert
Launch Competition,” says Mark Gerhardt, tour promotions manager for
